You’ll make a beautiful vintage style bead necklace you can wear immediately to high tea or the ballroom. A stunning addition to many a historical era costume, equally complimenting Victorian, Edwardian or Regency dresses. Or show your flair for fashion and don your handcrafted necklace whenever a little elegance is called for in your daily life.
You’ll learn to string luscious glass pearl beads, metallic seed beads and crystalline drops into an enchanting necklace. Several colour variations will be available so you can make the perfect adornment to go with any costume.
In this 2 hr workshop, you’ll craft a glamorous vintage style necklace that you’ll be able to wear immediately. Learn basic beading techniques including adding a clasp. Classic pattern, elegant yet simple enough for even a beginner to master. Fill out the form below to have your choice of bead colour waiting for you at Gencon. If you don’t get a chance to submit your preferences before the deadline don’t worry – a selection of kits will be available on a first come first serve basis. All colours may not be available, if not reserved.
All materials and tools you will need to make your vintage necklace are provided at the workshop. Generics are welcome and walk-ins will be accommodated as there are kits and space available.
